Developer Bob Leach was born and raised in Alameda, California. A proud graduate of Encinal High School (class of '72), Bob worked locally in the parks department and as a police officer before transitioning into hotel development. He remains connected to his roots, participating in several yearly city-wide fundraisers and community events.
Bob has over thirty years of experience in the hotel business. His company, West River Inc, specializes in luxury boutique hotels with a strong emphasis on customer service. Bob's hotels have received numerous awards including Trip Advisor's Traveler's Choice Award (Top 20 Hotel in the U.S.). His latest project, Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert, is one of Marriott's highest rated properties in the entire Coachella Valley.
James Woo has over 14 years experience in the hospitality industry. He began his hospitality career as a manager of a select service hotel. Shortly thereafter, James transitioned to acquisitions and eventually, to new development.
As the current CEO of WS Management, he possesses extensive experience working with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Choice hotel groups. James earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, Berkeley. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator.
Sean Woo serves as CFO of WS Management. Sean is responsible for the company’s financial, accounting and risk management activities. Additionally, he actively participates in the company’s long term strategies through identifying, negotiating and financing real estate acquisitions.
Sean earned a BA from UCLA and a MA from Cambridge University. He held a position at JP Morgan as an analyst prior to joining the hospitality industry.
